The USJ-Academy for Smart Health and Longevity R&D is a strong commitment of the University to the development of high-level research projects in the field of health and longevity, which is clearly aligned with the University's mission.
Following the Macau 1+4 strategy, which includes the broad concept of Big Health as a core development area of Macau, the Academy focuses on advanced technology solutions to support our society in innovating on how to deal with benefits, challenges and trends of the ageing population in China and around the world.
The Academy is open to collaborating with different entities in China and the community of Portuguese-speaking countries, leveraging existing partnerships and expanding its outreach to ultimately improve the quality of life of Macau's population and bring these solutions to the international community.
